Londoners on Bikes

The Londoners On Bikes campaign has been set up to provide London cyclists with the key information in the run up to the Mayoral election on 3rd May 2012.

Transport is massive issue with the number of commuters and accidents increasing year on year, and more importantly it’s the one thing the Mayor controls.

We got involved with the campaign as fellow London cyclists and have provided all the branding and assets simply to try and make a difference.

The most important thing for the brand was that it should not imply any party political bias so choice of colour was crucial. In addition, the campaign needed to look serious yet very approachable – the public should feel an affinity to it immediately and be happy to associated with the way it looks as well as it’s mission.

So, cue some bright pink with black and white and you’ve got it!

If you live and cycle, or know anyone that cycles in London, please go to the site, download the assets, spread the word and most importantly, vote with your bike on 3rd May.

The ballot box graphic got a very positive reaction from the team, to the point where it was threatening to take over from the logo. However, with a little bit of thought it becomes the perfect way to explain the idea behind the campaign in passing. Expect to see it all over London in the coming weeks.
