A good club kit is paramount. Get it right and it’s the perfect reason for new members to join. On the other hand, we also know how difficult and time consuming it can be designing and organising club kit for your members. That's why we created the best custom cycle club kit available.
Club+ provides a secure online store for your club where your members can login during a requested order period and purchase the items they require from us direct. As well as removing a major headache of collecting orders and money from your members it also means we can offer discounts to your members if they purchase a number of items.
Once the total order is collated and approved at the end of the period, production commences. Dispatch is then 4-6 weeks and can be shipped either to a club representative for distribution or direct to each individual club member.
For UK clubs of 250+ members we can bring a full sample range of our products to show your members, try for size and generally get to know you.
All our products are fully customisable and for larger clubs we can also offer custom zip pulls and silicon gripper.
We do recommend that we enter a contracted period as your kit supplier to allow you to carefully manage when kit is ordered to look after the needs and concerns of both long-term and more recent members. It also means that there is a clear renewal date to allow you to talk to us but your requirements (and perhaps other companies, although we think that’s unlikely!)
In addition to producing your kit, we can of course help with the design of your custom cycling kit and are more than happy to come and meet with your members so they can try for size and ask any questions.
Working with Milltag for your custom cycling kit should be a long-term partnership where we can constantly discuss how to improve your club and ourselves - new products, testing, key order times and stock management.
Dan from Foxgrove approached us in early 2015 having decided to start his own cycling club in Beckenham,South East London following a charity bike ride. The idea was the create a haven for riders of all abilities from members of previous London clubs to complete novices. Having registered with British Cycling with the beginnings of kit ideas, we got together and we completed the full range. We followed up with a face-to-face event at a club night where we introduced ourselves and our products, allowed members to try kit for sizing and quality.
Having finalised the range, we agreed a pre-order period and created the Foxgrove shop page on our site for the members to buy the products they wanted. Under 2 months later and the kit is dispatched to happy members.
A few weeks later and we open a second pre-order with added Autumn/Winter kit and a fantastic review appeared in Cycling Plus magazine.
"The kit looks fantastic, the design is perfect, I love the club colours. I have the bib shorts, and the size I have fit me perfectly. The chamois padding is nicely contoured and is very effective, far more effective than other cycling shorts that I have. The jersey is also very nice, the small zip up pocket on the back is genius and means I can securely zip away my debit card and beer tokens. I found that the sizing chart is accurate for a "racing" (tight) fit, which is to be expected from performance sport clothing. The online shop is very nice to use too, I like it..” Todd Fielder, Foxgrove Cycling Club member.
Lea Valley CC
Having undergone a fresh rebrand by club rider Charlie, Lea Valley CC (formed 1969) went out looking for a new manufacturer that would do it justice. Thankfully, we jumped through all the hoops and questions they posed for us and two months later the result is a beautiful mix of classic style and contemporary.
LVCC's Charlie: "‘Getting everyone excited about wearing their club colours was important for me and fellow artist Barnaby Barford. We retained historical elements of the clubs visual appearance whilst bringing it bang up to date with bold shapes and clean type. This was all topped off with quality kit from Milltag which allowed the design to shine."
