Taking advantage of the great weather, I headed down to Hampton Court to arrange some publicity shots for a new collaboration with Qoroz bikes we’ll be unveiling at Bespoked Bristol later this month. I’ve been testing their top of the range ‘Race Won’ titanium bike over the past month and suffice to say this is one fast machine. We’ll be talking more about our plans soon but here’s a few shots to whet the appetite (pics courtesy of Charlie Birchmore).

We recently came across a nice little website celebrating cycling to work: The Work Cycle.

The site is “a self-initiated project by Bristol-based creative production agency, Pixillion…There’s a different kind of relationship developing at work with people falling in love with riding their bikes all over again. We want to explore how the Work Cycle is beginning to shape the workspaces that we journey to”.

We look forward to having the Milltag HQ featured on there in due course!

Malcolm Elliott is a Legend

You’ve got to love Malcolm Elliott – if ever there was a cyclist who it should be made a legal requirement to add the word ‘legend’ whenever his name is uttered, it’s the Sheffield Express. At 48 (49 in July), he showed the kids how it’s done on the cobbles and won Friday’s very testing Durham city curcuit in the Halford’s Tour Series and looks like he may well go on for some time yet.

This from a man that was a pro between 84-97 before a 6 year retirement and his subsequent return in 2003. Known as a sprinter, his career includes two stages and the points jersey in the Vuelta , two gold medals in the Commonwealth Games and winning the Milk Race and the Kellogg’s Tour (insert ‘eats [...]
