SINCE 2010

At Milltag, we create bespoke performance cycle clothing for every level of road cyclists - from weekend warriors to the pro peloton. Established in London by expert graphic designers and dedicated cyclists, our innovative products utilise the finest technical materials and are ethically tailored by hand in Europe. Our blend of design knowledge, product development and hands-on customer service means we deliver only the best and most distinctive road cycling apparel on the market.

Milltag was started in 2010 by Ed Cowburn and Pete Kelsey as a response to not being able to find any jerseys that weren’t boring, generic and uninspiring. Production began with their own limited edition jerseys and collaborations with leading artists and designers from around the world. In 2011, due to demand from customers Milltag expanded to make custom kit and have created and sold thousands of designs all over the world: from collaborations with artists including INSA and Rich Mitch; to classic bands like Pixies and Ride; from cycling projects including Herne Hill Velodrome and the Revolution Series; to international companies such as Eurosport and the BBC, not to mention plenty of clubs, events companies, charities, and of course our own designs.

Our products are also race proven at the highest levels as the official racewear suppliers for the first two editions of the ASO’s Tour de Yorkshire and UK professional women’s team Matrix Pro Cycling (including World and Olympic Champions Laura Kenny and Elinor Barker).

Ed founded Milltag in 2010 after several years as a brand and graphic designer. He continues to approve every product that leaves the factory with a Milltag logo on, including all custom kit to make sure it meets his particular design aesthetic. When not planning the next phase of the company, Ed clears his head by painting, drinking whiskey and of course cycling, though not at the same time.

Prior to Milltag, Pete began his career at MCA / Universal Music where he ended up as Head of Art. Having worked with the likes of The Stone Roses, Ocean Colour Scene and Black Grape he decided set up his own design studio before falling in love with cycling and setting up Milltag with Ed. An audax demon, where most people are happy with Sunday club ride or the odd 100 miles, Pete prefers the challenge and meditation of several hundred kms in the saddle.

Lead Designer

Sullivan provides Milltag's Gallic flare, joining after several years working in Paris on projects for some of the biggest names in cycling - ASO, UEC, FDJ and Europcar. He decided to cross over the Channel to share his savoir faire and his joie de vivre with Milltag. When not working on the next collection, Sullivan is enjoying a glass of red wine with some cheese to help him to dream up our next collection.

Customer Care Manager

A novice cyclist, Nora joined the team to add brilliance to Milltag's E-Commence, Customer Management and Operations, as well as in tea making. Her baking panache keeps Milltag fed with the finest cakes, always delivered in a musette of course. Away from her desk, Nora likes to fantasise about recipes and spend time in the calming surrounds of toddler groups with her son.

All our products are made to the highest standards using the finest quality materials and handmade by expert machinists in Europe.
